Vienna (OTS) – Stermann and Grissemann welcome three guests in “Welcome Austria” on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, at 10:10 p.m. on ORF 1: stage person and author Michael Schottenberg brings his travel diaries with him and the former professional skier Nicola Werdenigg and actress Maya Unger talk about the new film “Persona Non Grata”, which deals with the #metoo wave in skiing that Werdenigg started in 2017. At 11:10 p.m. the “Prater Stars” light up THE NIGHT when Hosea Ratschiller appears on the stand-up stage of the Vienna Fluc Clemens Haipl, Dr. Bohl, Patrizia Wunderl and the “Hermann Singing Band” welcomed. Afterwards at 11.40 p.m. there will be a dacapo with “Good Night Austria”.

Michael Schottenberg has been publishing his travel diaries since 2017 and, in addition to Vietnam, Burma and India, he has also traveled to exotic (federal) countries such as Upper and Lower Austria. You can find out in “Welcome Austria” that things aren’t always harmonious and what tips he gives the two moderators along the way.
There is no mention of “Persona Non Grata” in the case of the guest duo Nicola Werdenigg and Maya Unger, except of course when it comes to the film of the same name about the life and career of the former professional skier Werdenigg. The ex-ski racer was the first woman in Austria to break the silence and speak publicly about her #metoo case and sexual abuse in the sports world. In “Persona Non Grata” the Austrian actress Maya Unger plays Werdenigg’s daughter Sara, directed by her father Antonin Svoboda. In a talk with Stermann and Grissemann, the two talk about the background and filming of the psychodrama, in which Gerti Drassl stars as Andrea Weingartner.

Clemens Haipl, once the main project manager of the legendary “Project X”, presents the highlights of his solo debut “Entertainment with Attitude”. Dr. Bohl, the brothers Paul and Benjamin, demonstrate their incredible wit. Patrizia Wunderl presents herself as the undisputed queen of the B league. The musical conclusion – with witty, humorous lyrics – is offered by the “Gesangskapelle Hermann”.
