Vienna (OTS) – Generation meeting in “Welcome Austria” on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10 p.m. on ORF 1 – and from 8 p.m. on on.ORF.at and in the TVthek app: While the group of young editors-in-chief meet with deals with the socio-political decisions of the future and ORF presenter Andi Knoll gives an outlook on the TV show highlights of the next few weeks, Stermann and Grissemann deal with their own mortality when they talk to the author Elke Heidenreich about “aging” and speak her book of the same name. Gone are also the television moments that Maschek chose for the well-known voiceover remix and added up-to-date gags. And the musical finale of the show takes us back to the future with a special surprise guest at the end of the show and a look back at the last episode. Elke Heidenreich also writes about the proverbial “old hands” in her new book “Aging,” which will be published on May 13th. In it she dedicates herself to the social phenomenon that affects everyone who gets old but doesn’t want to be old. The Cologne-based author devotes herself honestly and wisely to the phenomenon of physical decline and writes very personally about something that affects us all. The no longer very young “Welcome Austria” hosts also have some questions for the writer.
