Content: Anna (Janina Uhse) and Thomas (Florian David Fitz) want to get married and have invited the family to the Tyrolean Alps. In a typically bad mood, Stephan (Christoph Maria Herbst) ponders the current lives of the Böttchers, Wittmanns, Bergers and Königs in the ski lift: Anna has surprisingly made a career as an actress after all, Thomas is about to be promoted to the board of a real estate company – assuming , he passes the mandatory sensitivity training. Stephan’s wife Elisabeth (Caroline Peters) still works as a teacher, but secretly supplements the household budget with Bitcoin trading. And René (Justus von Dohnányi), married to Dorothea (Iris Berben) and the parents of twins for three years, turns out to be an overprotective helicopter father. Stephan himself was recently fired from the university as a professor; there was an incident. And with Cajus (Jona Volkmann), 18, and Antigone (Kya-Celina Barucki), 17, Stephan and Elisabeth’s youthful, woke offspring bring additional chaos to the hoped-for winter idyll. In the end, it’s not just the planned wedding that is in jeopardy…
