Director Werner Auer and the team of the children’s musical summer Lower Austria will bring a new adventure from the “Ritter-Rost” series on the stage of the garden arena in the Kittenberg adventure gardens with “Ritter Rost has his birthday”; The start is at 3 p.m. This time Ritter Rost travels together with the Burgfräulein Bö and the fire kite Koks with the help of a time taxi call machine in their childhood. Another premiere of the theater festival for Kids will take place on Thursday, July 10th, in the Mödling city theater, where the Musical Sommer Teatro shows “Sophie Scholl – The White Rose”, a musical by Norbert Holoubek with music by Norberto Bertassi and Walter Lochmann. The history of the Nazi resistance fighter for an audience from the age of 14 in Teatro manner with a live orchestra and young actresses is implemented (directed by Rita Sereinig). The Theaterfest Lower Austria will be presenting the premiere of the comedy “Die Nerve saw” by Francis Veber on Thursday, July 10, from 7.30 p.m. in the city theater Berndorf. The complications for a contract killer, a prevented suicide and a double occupied hotel room by Alexander Jagsch, Gregor Seberg, director Kristina Sprenger, Robert Kolar, Michael Duregger and Max Konrad (directed by Susanne Weber) are brought to the stage. The Retz festival celebrates its 20-year anniversary from Friday, July 11th, with a staging of the church opera “Salome-La Decollazione di San Giovanni Battista” by Antonio Maria Bononcini, a baroque setting of biblical history around Johannes the Baptist, King Herodes and his stepdaughter Salome from 1709; Start in the parish church of St. Stephan is at 7.30 p.m. The multimedia discourse on the consolidation of a distorted female image was the Swiss filmmaker Nicole Aebersold and the Israeli choreographer Jasmin Avissar; Anna Piroli, Carolina Lippo, Chiara Brunello and UA; Luca de Marchi conducts the Ensemble Continuum Vienna. From Saturday, July 12th, Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” at Gars Castle tells the history of the Parisian Kurtisan Violetta Valéry and her tragic love for Alfredo Germont; The premiere begins at 8 p.m. The opera is sung for passion, conflicts and tragedy by Hila Fahima, Filip Filipović, Flaka Goranci UA, also director Clemens Unterreiner is on stage himself – alternately with Morten Frank Larsen (directed by Carolin Pienkos and Cornelius Obonya, musical direction: Levente Török).
