BMW M GmbH is expanding its offering in the high-performance automobile segment and is consistently continuing the electrification of its model range. The new BMW M5 Touring (consumption weighted combined: 2.0 l/100 km and 30.7 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions weighted combined: 46 g/km; fuel consumption with a discharged battery: 10.9 l/100 km according to WLTP; CO2 classes: weighted combined B, with a discharged battery G) combines outstanding dynamics on and off the racetrack with a variable amount of space for everyday life, leisure and travel. It is the third current BMW M automobile to have an M HYBRID drive, in which a high-revving V8 engine is supported by an electric motor with extremely spontaneous power development. Together, its two engines generate a maximum output of 535 kW/727 hp and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.
