The largest independent farmers’ association presents a catalog of demands to the future federal government
Vienna/Upper Austria/Lower Austria/Salzburg/Styria/Carinthia (OTS) –

We will present this extensive working paper to you next Tuesday in Vienna, and the following speakers will be on site:

Johann Konrad, Managing Director of AGÖ, Austria’s largest dairy farmer, Upper Austria

Martina Mittermeier, AGÖ board member, dairy farmer, Upper Austria

Manfred Muhr, AGÖ Director of Public Relations, Organic Farmer, Carinthia

Simon Holzmüller, AGÖ board member, Upper Austria

Since the AGÖ farmers have a quarter of Austria’s milk production, we will also comment on the current developments regarding the Spar-NÖM conflict.

About AGÖ: The Agrargenossenschaft Österreich, or AGÖ for short, was founded 30 years ago by a group of Upper Austrian farmers as a purchasing group. Today, in its entire network, which consists of purchasing, advocacy and marketing, it has more than 67,000 farmer participants from more than 18,000 agricultural businesses, of which more than 5,200 are active member companies. This makes the AGÖ by far the largest, non-partisan farmers’ association in Austria.
