From August 29 to September 1, 2024, the international community and its friends gathered again for this unique scene event in a really spectacular place.
With over 4,500 overnight stays from visitors from over 20 countries Pink Lake International LGBTQ-Festival In Pörtschach in southern Austria again as a successful event for the LGBTQ community on Lake Wörthersee. Peter Peschel, the organizer and managing director of the Wörthersee-Rosental Tourism, emphasized: “The festival is a real top event in our event calendar. We are really looking forward to the many long-term regular guests every year and also about the steadily growing fan community. We still have a lot plans!”
Although many long -time guests of the community had already traveled a few days earlier to enjoy the beautiful region to the fullest, the festival goers had their official start on August 29th in Schloss Leonstain in Pörtschach am Wörthersee. The “Almdudler Almrausch Party”started at 6:00 p.m. in the castle garden with free admission for everyone. The motto “Wies’n mood” with dirndls and lederhosen as a dress code and the energetic perfomance by Johann Rosenbauer with the right hits and hits created the perfect mood, while the beer tapping and hearty dishes formed the ideal basis for an exuberant party night.
At 9:00 p.m. the gates opened to the spectacular courtyard of the castle. Here the visitors expected a highlight on the live stage: the “Chaos party band”A firework of moods. After that, DJ James Munich and DJ Sunshine heated up the turntables until the early hours of the morning.
The guests experienced another party highlight at the “DUREX Club Night” on August 30th in the “factory”. The disused factory building again proved to be an ideal location for an iconic and exuberant club night. The DJs Katy Bähm from Berlin, DJ Pandora Nox As well as DJ James Munich and DJ Sunshine, the factory halls made it shake until the early hours of the morning.
The crowning glory of the Pink Lake Party Trilogy was again this year “Boat Cruise Party” On the turquoise blue water of Lake Wörthersee on August 31. From 7:45 p.m. it was said in Pörtschach “All Aboard” for the guests. By tying the three ships of the Wörthersee shipping together, the largest dance floor on the lake was created in the course of the evening, and the Boat Cruise Party again turned into a truly unique party event.
