Iran’s attack on Israel last night must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. The Austrian-Israeli Society stands on Israel’s side!
Vienna (OTS) – Iran’s escalation with the attempted bombing of Israel represents a new level of violence in the Middle East that must be condemned in the strongest possible terms by the international community
said the First President of the Austrian-Israeli Society, Peter Florianschütz. Since the bloody terrorist attack by Hamas with over 1,200 deaths, the mass kidnappings and rapes, the Iranian regime’s proxies – Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen – have repeatedly challenged the security of Israel and its people. Only rapid intervention by the Israeli military together with its allies could prevent the attempts by Iran and its aides from being successful.
With the attempted bombardment of Israel by the mullahs in Tehran last night, Iran has now shown that it is not only theoretically ready for further escalation in the Middle East, but is actively interested in further destabilizing the volatile situation. Austria and the European Union are called upon to stand by Israel with determination
adds the 2nd Secretary General of the ÖIG, Michael Laubsch.
Iran, as yesterday’s events show, is prepared to use any means possible to destroy Israel. It is therefore more necessary than ever to isolate the mullahs’ regime internationally and cut off all contacts with Tehran.
Europe is obliged not only to stand with the people of Israel with words, it must now act decisively and implement sanctions of all kinds against Iran.
