On Sunday, Austrians elected a new National Council. Whatever constellation the future government begins its work in, it will not be able to cope with the political challenges of our time without a clear European policy strategy. The result of the Austrian parliamentary election has implications for the entire European Union. But how do the election results and possible government constellations influence Austria’s positioning in the EU? And what do European parliamentarians expect from a new federal government and the next European Commission?
We discuss these and other questions as part of the Europa Club Vienna, on Friday, October 4th, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the House of the European Union.
