Vienna (OTS) – In the past ten years, donations for art and culture in Austria have tripled. One reason for this is the consistent expansion of tailor-made and methodically diverse donation campaigns in the sector. The need is great: According to a survey within the cultural scene, third-party funds now represent an important source of financing for 83% of all institutions, in addition to government funding. In order to bring the most successful donation activities of domestic cultural providers to the fore, the Fundraising Association Austria (FVA) awards In cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport and with the support of the Austrian Lotteries and UNIQA, the cultural fundraising awards will be held for the third time on April 25th.
The FVA has been looking for the most successful and innovative fundraising campaigns from the arts and culture of the past year until April 12th. On April 25th (from 4:00 p.m.) the most outstanding projects will be honored with the Cultural Fundraising Awards 2024 at the 10th FVA cultural conference in the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Last year, the prizes in three categories went to the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Kunsthaus Graz in cooperation with Energie Graz and the Kulturwerkstatt Kammgarn in Vorarlberg.
