For the ninth time, the International Music Association is organizing the annual classical music promotion award “Golden Note” under the direction of its founder and chairwoman Leona König Heuer. In 2025, talented children and adolescents up to the age of 18 will be sought again – this time from the three genres keyboard instruments, wind instruments as well as string and plucking instruments, the latter being expanded to include double bass and viola this year. Interested young musicians from Austria, Germany and South Tyrol can register until March 10 for participation in the audition taking place on April 12th in the Vienna Honorable Hall. A total of up to 18 applicants are selected for playing in front of a specialist jury that the nine best artists from it: Inside for the grand finale of the “Golden Note 2025” in the form of a glamorous TV show – to see on June 6th in ORF 2.
