Elisabeth Beck, Julia Kaufmann, Kateryna Mizera, Alina Soboleva and Diana Starnets as well as Kevin Berger, Michele Cantanna, Ivan Dubinin, Viatcheslav Issaev and Patrick Seebauer – these are the ten professional participants that the jury chose at the start of “Dancing Stars – “The Casting” was convincing yesterday, Friday, November 8th, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. Up to 407,000 spectators did not want to miss how Maria Angelini-Santner, Balázs Ekker and Missy May voted the most promising candidates into the next round. On average, the first episode of the new ORF format was watched by 348,000 viewers with a market share of 15 percent (14 percent for 12-29 and 20 percent for 12-49).
In the next editions, the future “Dancing Stars” professionals will have to master challenges on the dance floor with dance-loving amateurs in order to get their professional ticket for “Dancing Stars 2025”. Two of them – a professional dancer and a professional dancer – will then be part of the new “Dancing Stars” season from March 2025. The show will be moderated by Andi Knoll.
