Vienna/St.Pölten (OTS) – In the Dr. Wilhelm Steingötter-Straße 25, in the Viehofen district of St. Pölten, not far from the Viehofner lakes 6B47 A new, pioneering new property development project is planned and developed. For this purpose, the Steingotterhof project was carried out beyond carbon energy designed an energy-efficient energy supply system covering around 26,820 m2, which provides CO2-free heat and cold from the existing site resources.
Steingotterhof reduces emissions and increases living comfort
Through the effective use of renewable site resources for energy supply, such as geothermal energy, solar energy and solar power, significant CO2 savings can be ensured in the long term in the Steingotterhof project. The overall energy system of the Steingotterhof therefore does not represent a critical infrastructure, as the systems were built directly on site and are not dependent on higher-level pipe networks. This reduces distribution losses and ensures a needs-based energy supply on site.

Quality of life finds city
The importance of effective temperature control, so-called passive cooling, is increasingly coming into focus in view of climatic changes. The innovative solution from Steingotterhof addresses this challenge and offers an economical and ecological alternative. By avoiding waste heat and noise emissions through conventional cooling components, the systems help to increase the well-being of the residents and at the same time reduce summer overheating effects. In addition, an energy line was planned to ensure an expansion of the CO2-free energy supply system to include future construction sites (construction sites 2+3).
