City Councilor Peter Hacker and Vienna Health Promotion – WiG invite you to take part
Vienna (OTS) – The Vienna Health Promotion – WiG is once again offering the Vienna Health Prize this year, which provides three media prizes for outstanding journalistic contributions to the annual focus of “Healthy Youth”. “Promoting health skills among young people is so important because they also lay the foundation for a healthy adult life. Journalists and authors can use interesting reports, articles and well-founded reporting to show where health promotion for young people should start,” emphasize Peter Hacker, City Councilor for Social Affairs, Health and Sport and Dennis Beck, Managing Director of Vienna Health Promotion – WiG, on the occasion of the Announcement of the Vienna Health Prize 2024.
Contributions to the annual focus on “Healthy Youth” that were published in Austrian print or electronic media or in a publisher between January 1, 2023 and the end of the submission deadline, March 31, 2024, can be submitted. The prerequisite is that the reports, reports or features etc. deal with the topic of “healthy youth” and are based on a comprehensive concept of health.
All important information about the three media prizes as part of the Vienna Health Prize 2024, each worth 500 euros, as well as the documents for submission until March 31, 2024, are available below wig.or.at available. In addition to the three media prizes for outstanding journalistic contributions to the annual focus, the Vienna Health Prize is awarded in the proven categories “Healthy in Grätzel and District” and “Healthy in Facilities/Organizations” and for innovative ideas and projects with a focus on the annual focus. The Vienna Health Prize will be awarded on September 16, 2024 as part of the Vienna Health Promotion Conference in Vienna City Hall.
