Vienna (OTS/LCG) – The family-run traditional Viennese bakery Ströck has been drawing attention to International Women’s Day on March 8th for years. 2024 will be dominated by the neuroimmunological multisystem disease ME/CFS. Currently around 80,000 people in Austria are affected by ME/CFS, around two thirds of whom are women. Thanks to the support of numerous organic FAIRTRADE coffee lovers, record coffee sales of 61,308.29 euros were raised on this year’s International Women’s Day. All coffee proceeds from the day will be donated to the WE&ME Foundation for research, education and cure for ME/CFS.
