As the Wiener Zeitung reports, the next ÖVP local politician bought building land in order to resell it for more than twice as much. “ÖVP politicians continue to use our soil in the communities as if it were their ATM. This time a community board bought and sold a public meadow and ultimately earned 142,000 euros from it,” says David Stögmüller, member of the National Council for the Greens from Braunau.
“Such property deals not only need to be completely cleared up, but they also need to finally be put to a stop. Our healthy soil is not an object of speculation, but rather important so that water can seep away. It is there for all people and not for individuals who want to enrich themselves from it,” says Stögmüller about the latest reports about the property deal in the Innviertel community of Schildorn.
