Austria’s prosperity is being put to the test again for the first time in many decades. Electricity at stable prices from a safe, domestic source is of essential importance for the economy, industry and also households. On a day when Carinthia voted against wind power, Austria’s wind turbines produced more electricity than ever before. Austria was number 1 in Europe that day.
IG Windkraft presents the current expansion figures for the past year and the forecasts for 2025 and addresses the energy needs of Austria’s industrial giants in the federal states. The next federal government has the responsibility at a crucial moment to ensure that the economy and society are supplied with affordable and safe electricity.
