The management of the Pottenbrunn care center applied for restructuring proceedings with self-administration before the St. Pölten regional court on November 14th, 2024; this application was granted on November 15th, 2024. This measure was necessary to ensure the continued existence of the care center in the long term. Extensive renovation measures have already been initiated in the last few months to secure each of the 61 jobs on site. Temporary staff were replaced by permanent staff in order to guarantee the high quality of care certified by the state of Lower Austria and to offer the residents constant and reliable care. “The Pottenbrunn care center has been a reliable partner in the care sector in Lower Austria for years and will remain so. The renovation measures guarantee a high level of care at the site and secure local jobs in the long term. The nursing operation is completely secured,” said managing director Paul Kessler in a statement. “The Pottenbrunn care center is a flagship in Lower Austria when it comes to professional care in the care sector. The challenges in the area of care are still high, but with structural measures and renovation we have managed to bring the Pottenbrunn care center back to where it was: a reliable partner with the highest standards in the care sector in Lower Austria and a location guarantee for care in Lower Austria with nursing beds.”
The restructuring process is being conducted with self-administration; creditors are offered a quota of 30%. Dr. was appointed restructuring manager. Christian Lind ordered.
