Corona reparation in St. Pölten
St.Pölten (OTS) – In a call for cooperation, State Councilor Dr. Christoph Luisser St. Pölten’s SPÖ mayor Matthias Stadler was invited to a clarifying conversation. The aim of the meeting is to finally find a solution for repaying the citizens of St. Pölten for corona fines that were wrongly levied.
In the past few months, 572 of 573 municipalities in Lower Austria have had the opportunity to repay unconstitutionally imposed Corona penalties. This measure is an important step towards restoring justice for those affected. However, to date, St. Pölten remains the only municipality that has not yet implemented such a regulation.
“I therefore invite the mayor of St. Pölten to work with me to find a viable way to make reparations possible for the citizens of St. Pölten. Together we can ensure justice for all citizens in Lower Austria,” emphasizes Christoph Luisser and hopes that the SPÖ mayor will give in.
