Eisenstadt (OTS) – The “ORF Burgenland Summer Festivals” start on Friday, June 7, 2024. The first festival takes place in Deutschkreutz. The ORF Burgenland presenters Michael Pimiskern, Thomas May, Sebastian Györög and Udo Huber will alternately present the summer festivals and lead through the evening. As usual, the Radio Burgenland Band ensures the best atmosphere.
Competition “Who can do more?” with the ORF Burgenland weather presenters
A highlight of the summer festivals is the “Who can do more?” competition. The ORF Burgenland weather experts Kristina Buconjic and Veronika Berghofer as well as “weather frog” Wolfgang Unger take turns playing against opponents from the respective host community. “Who can do more” building towers out of cards, doing push-ups or blowing up balloons – whatever idea the three moderators bring to the respective community and do their best will remain a surprise for the audience until the respective festival.

With the program “Radio Burgenland Sommerfest Tanzbar” every Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Radio Burgenland will musically accompany the events with the best “Sommerfest” hits and report on the mood from the festivals in the program. As usual, there will be live entries from the festival every Friday in “Burgenland Today” from 7 p.m. on ORF 2/B – with the respective competition and the winner’s freestyle.
The best pictures and videos from the summer festivals can be seen on burgenland.ORF.at every Saturday. The festivals will also be followed on the ORF Burgenland’s Facebook and Instagram channels.

- 30. August 2024: Jennersdorf, Kirchenstraße
The festivals take place every Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight with free admission.
