Start of “CLEVER – the puzzle show”! Gregor Seberg presents Austria’s biggest puzzle show from January 5th on ORF 1

Werner Gruber and Silvia Wirnsberger play as “Team Brains” against their challengers “Team Clever” to win up to 10,000 euros

Vienna (OTS) Language, logic, multi-tasking, perception and memory – brain power is required in these five game rounds! In the opening episode of “CLEVER – the puzzle show” on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. on ORF 1, presenter Gregor Seberg welcomes two highly intelligent brains who will be challenged by three quick thinkers. Physicist and author Werner Gruber and Mensa Austria board member and Director of Business at Villach Tourismus Silvia Wirnsberger play in “Team Brains”. They compete against “Team Clever”, which consists of the three Graz students of environmental systems science Michael Mayr, Malin Walther and Peter Berger.

“Team Brains” and their challengers in “Team Clever” engage in a relentless duel and give each other nothing when they demonstrate amazing memory and extraordinary skills in tricky tasks. The creative brain teasers and visual puzzles should be solved partly in parallel and partly one after the other. Which of the two teams can win with creativity, tactics and, above all, teamwork? 2,000 euros can be won in each of the five game rounds. Will a team even manage to take home the 10,000 euros in the end? Only this much can be revealed: “Team Brains” has agreed to donate its share of the profits to LICHT INS DUNKEL.

Puzzle along and get excited!

In the next five shows, puzzle-loving trios will continue to challenge the respective “Team Brains,” which consists of a celebrity and a clever person. Competing in “Team Brains” are: on January 12th Clemens Maria Schreiner (cabaret artist and presenter) and Nicole Fürhapter (team leader controlling SOS Children’s Village, Mensa Austria), on January 19th Silvia Schneider (presenter, fashion designer and lawyer) and Martin Hubinger ( Management consultant, general secretary at Mensa Austria), on January 26th Werner Gruber (physicist and author) and Silvia Wirnsberger (board member at Mensa Austria, director of business at Villach Tourismus), on February 9th Barbara Maier (model and actress) and Julian Kessler (University Assistant at the University of Salzburg, Canteen Austria) and on February 16th Hans-Peter Hutter (Senior Physician and Deputy Head of Environmental Hygiene and Environmental Medicine at the MedUni Vienna) and Denise Fremd (Scientific Project Associate at the Computational Science Center University of Vienna)
