Spring Tripel: Start of “Animal Moments”, “Nature in the Garden” and “Back to Nature”

New episodes from April 14th on ORF 2 with service and tips about animals and gardens as well as country life in Austria

Vienna (OTS) Spring start on ORF 2 – three popular ORF magazines are starting the spring season with new episodes from Sunday, April 14, 2024: Maggie Entenfellner presents “Animal Moments” with service, tips and tricks as well as touching stories in new editions at 4 p.m about the animal companions. Karl Ploberger will be reporting at 5.30 p.m. with “Nature in the Garden” from the adventure world at “Garten Tulln” and will make the audience want to garden and design their own again with many exciting garden sections and just as many tips and tricks. Maggie Entenfellner will then show the most beautiful sides of country and city life at 5:55 p.m. in new editions of “Back to Nature”, where she will once again portray special people and their relationship with nature – in some of the most beautiful regions in Austria. The new season takes you to Jennersdorf, Mödling, Gallneukirchen, the Niedere Tauern, the Wallersee, the Gurktal and Vienna.

“Animal Moments” with Maggie Entenfellner (4 p.m.):

Maggie Entenfellner presents “animal moments” in the ORF animal magazine. At the start she is a guest of fashion expert Martina Reuter and her three guinea pigs. The magazine also accompanies bed bug detection dog Konrad in his work, looks at how the broken relationship of trust between horse and rider can be restored, and asks what you do if you find abandoned wild baby babies. Maggie Entenfellner once again presents animals that are looking for a new home – this time from the animal shelter in Vösendorf. And the audience is in demand again in the new episodes – in the “The Animal of You” section, the viewers’ favorites are the stars at the end of each program. All information about this can be found at extra.ORF.at.

“Nature in the Garden” – Karl Ploberger gives tips for green thumbs (5:30 p.m.):

In the new season of the popular ORF gardening show, Karl Ploberger is introducing a new section – “The Plant of the Week” focuses on a special plant every week with all its special features and needs. In the opening episode, Karl Ploberger also presents an exotic garden in Burgenland, shows how you can outwit climate change while gardening, and herb witch Uschi Zezelitsch introduces the turmeric plant. From April 20th, the new episodes will also be on 3sat’s program on Saturdays at 3:05 p.m. and the following Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. There will be even more gardening fun with Karl Ploberger on April 23rd at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2 with “Paradise in the Distance: Sicily – Blossoms, Beach and Sea”.

“Back to nature” – with Maggie Entenfellner we go to Jennersdorf in Burgenland (5:55 p.m.):

At the start of the new season, Maggie Entenfellner visits Jennersdorf in southern Burgenland. The sunny region is a hub for all kinds of encounters: Here Manfred Ploi gives new life to old iron. He turns scrap metal into art – and Maggie gets to lend a hand. Real natural works of art are created by florist Monika Krois – from everything the season has to offer. And chef Michael Kahr brings the nature of southern Burgenland to the plate. This time he’s cooking with an almost forgotten vegetable: the Jerusalem artichoke tuber.
