SPÖ federal managing director Klaus Seltenheim describes the FPÖ’s comments on the appearance of the President of the Chamber of Labor Renate Anderl in the ORF press hour as a revelation: “The FPÖ’s crystal-clear anti-attitude towards the Chamber of Labor shows once again how hypocritical the FPÖ is towards the workers in this country behaves. If the FPÖ had its way, it would prefer to abolish compulsory membership in the Chamber of Labor because it would like to take action against those who stand up for workers and defend their rights, Seltenheim told the SPÖ press service on Sunday. The FPÖ’s positioning shows once again that it does not stand up for employees and that their interests are not worthy of representation. ****
“The SPÖ stands in solidarity with the workers and fights for better working and living conditions for the many in Austria,” says Seltenheim. Instead of providing clear arguments, the FPÖ is still harping on about the term “Marxism”. The FPÖ can’t think of anything better. The SPÖ is different and offers clear solutions and answers, stands in solidarity with the employees and wants concrete improvements for Austria. “The Chamber of Labor is essential for the rights and interests of employees and rightly enjoys great trust from employees. It must be defended from any attacks and its existence must not be compromised,” concluded Seltenheim. (End) ff
