Hanger cannot deny the ÖVP’s responsibility in the Interior Ministry either
Vienna (OTS/SK) – “The ÖVP had responsibility in the Interior Ministry for 24 years. The ÖVP made Kickl interior minister. The ÖVP covered the destruction of the BVT by Kickl. Ott made a career in BVT under ÖVP interior ministers. The ÖVP’s constant attempts to shirk responsibility are nothing more than hot air. Together, the ÖVP and FPÖ have massively endangered Austria’s security and they will do it again if they have the majority by just one mandate after the National Council election. Only a strong SPÖ will stop that,” said SPÖ security spokesman Reinhold Einwallner at Hanger’s press conference today, in which he again denied the ÖVP’s responsibility in the espionage scandal. Hanger in particular should be aware of this responsibility, as he himself comes from the ÖVP Lower Austria, which has had the most interior ministers since Strasser. (End) sd/pok
