SPÖ-Babler: “Only the SPÖ can prevent Kickl from becoming chancellor”

New right-wing camp shows where the FPÖ wants to develop Austria; SPÖ wants to sue Orban and warns against illiberal democracy

Vienna (OTS) – “The alliance presented today shows exactly what threatens Austria if the FPÖ comes into government responsibility. “Kickl is emulating Orban and is striving to introduce an illiberal democracy a la Orban,” warns Babler, pointing out that social democracy is a bulwark for Austria against the right-wing and right-wing conservative parties in Europe. “Orban’s policies represent a Europe of walls and isolation in which the right to asylum is boycotted. The dismantling of social and democracy in Hungary must be a warning to us of what threatens Austria if the FPÖ comes into government responsibility,” said Babler.****

Babler reiterates his announcement that he will sue Hungary as soon as the SPÖ is in government. ÖVP and FPÖ friend Orban does not register the refugees and simply waves them on to Austria. This leads to higher arrival numbers.
