A new chapter begins: The Mein Schiff Relax, the first ship of the new intuition class, was baptized in front of over 12,000 guests in the harbor of Málaga yesterday by baptismal godmother Giuliana Rizzo, who has been a crew member who has been a fleet since 2015. The central and recurring element of the perfectly staged baptismal show with video paper, fireworks, LED bracelets, a choir and other elements was the eight as a symbol of infinity and calm. What was special for the over 12,000 guests – in their own event site – was that they themselves became part of the baptismal show via radio -controlled LED bracelets that every guest wore on his wrist. The staging, which culminated with a pyrotechnic effect along a 120 -meter -long rocket line to the bow of the ship and the crushing of the champagne bottle and a fireworks, crowned the new feel -good ship against the backdrop of the Andalusian city of Málaga.

Celebrities and guests of three ships welcomed the Mein Schiff Relax in the fleet
There have never been three ships and one baptism in the history of TUI Cruises. Over 12,000 guests, including many new, but also long -term loyal fans of the feel -good fleet, had the exclusive baptism trips that are under the motto “Infinite Moments” or only booked the baptism event in the Andalusian port city. Also included: prominent guests such as Andrea Berg, Reiner Calmund, Elton, Andrea Kathrin Loewig, Maximilian Arland, Aleksandra Bechtel, Ella Finally, Natascha Ochsenknecht and other invited day guests from politics and business.
The Mein Schiff Relax was celebrated after the baptism event at the aftershow parties of all three ships: On board the Mein Schiff 5, the dance floor was rocked with DJ Mousse T., DJ Mokaby made the pool deck that made Mein Schiff 7 to dance and DJ 2 elements and DJ Schiller have heated up the guests of the Mein Schiff Relax.
Captain, maiden voyage and first season of Mein Schiff Relax
On Tuesday, the Mein Schiff relaxed the baptism trip to sail. At the wheel: Captain Tom Roth, who has accompanied the development and construction of the Mein Schiff Relax for six years in the creation and since August last year in the Italian Fincantieri shipyard.
