3 days – 1 main stage – 20+ locations – 40+ artists. From Friday to Sunday, from noon to the early morning, from the mountain to the valley, free admission – Kitzbühel Tourismus takes an extremely satisfied record of the second edition of the Kitzbühel Boutique Festival called Sound | Escape.
After the successful premiere in 2024, Sound | Escape to liven up the traditionally weak last Märwochen together with the tourist partners. Kitzbühel Tourism Managing Director Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser sees great potential in this concept: “What a weekend! Already at the second edition of Sound | Escape we noticed: something is happening. More visitors, more committed companies, more atmosphere-and above all a real cooperation. consists.” A continuation of the Kitzbühel Boutique Festival is planned from March 27 to 29, 2026.
Brilliant sequel
It is well known that top -class DJs regularly hang up in Kitzbühel in the field of electronic music. With sound | Escape are bundled the individual initiatives of the individual companies on the mountain and in the valley in a festival concept. As a heart and therefore a link between the locations, a large stage – mainstage – acts in the middle of the historic city center, in the courtyard of the district administration. Particular attention is paid to the free entry to all locations.
On the three event days, a top-class line up, consisting of local DJ greats and international superstars such as Sven Väth as headliner, Kilimanjaro, Matthias Tanzmann and Anna Tur. Visitors to various age groups-electronic music originated in the 1990s-were enthusiastic about this new format-despite the time-consuming rain in the valley and snow on the mountain.
Effect in the companies clearly noticeable
The feedback and the positive feedback from the previous year wore fruits and this was clearly shown in the overnight stays and the utilization of the participating companies on the mountain and in the valley. The world -famous headliner Sven Väth in particular attracted numerous visitors to Kitzbühel, including a group of over 100 British skiers and some first visitors.
Marvin Aloys was primarily responsible for the coordination of the artists: “We wanted to create an alpine space for electronic music, culture and real encounter – and we filled it together.
