As already announced, Austria is part of the air defense initiative “Sky Shield“joined. On Tuesday, Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) signed a corresponding declaration with Germany in Brussels. The Sky Shieldinitiative is a response to the Russian attack on Ukraine and aims to create a stronger air defense umbrella over Europe.
