Vienna (OTS) – The Austrian musician Julian le Play is part of the top-class jury team for the major music prize “Sound@V” 2024 from ORF Vorarlberg. The singer and songwriter, who has been awarded five “Amadeus Austrian Music Awards”, was able to join this year’s expert jury at the fifth edition of this unique competition.
Top-class panel of experts
With the internationally successful Viennese musician, another music business professional has joined the “Sound@V” jury. Hannah and Laura Breitfuß from the Austrian band “Cousines like Shit” as well as FM4 presenter and journalist Riem Higazi are already part of the jury team.

The countdown is running! 84 music acts submitted their songs to this year’s “Sound@V”, 16 of which were nominated. Both the jury and the audience are involved in the awarding of this award. Because they decide together who will be honored in the four music categories at “Sound@V” 2024. Fans have the opportunity to push their favorites forward through online voting on the vorarlberg.ORF.at website until June 28, 2024. Every vote counts! You can choose from:

Mega music acts at the big live event
The award ceremony will take place at the award show on July 5th from 8:15 p.m. as part of the Poolbar Festival in Feldkirch. The audience can look forward to a colorful mix of lots of live music, exciting interviews, awards and band portraits. The music acts Fiesta Forever, Cordoba78, Julia Zischg, Gardens and Pia Denz will be able to be experienced live. After the award show, the band “Cousines like Shit” will heat things up again at the after-show party in the pool of the Old Hallenbad.
Joint initiative
The ORF Vorarlberg music award “Sound@V” is held together with “Marke Vorarlberg”, “NEUE am Sonntag” and the “Poolbar Festival”. The “Newcomer” category is presented by the collecting society AKM/aume.

The voting by the audience and jury is extremely exciting, the trophies are highly sought after and the acts performed really make you want to listen to music from Vorarlberg.”
