Silvia Schneider and Martin Hubinger will join Gregor Seberg in “CLEVER – the puzzle show” on January 19th on ORF 1

Then in Funtime on Friday: “Alex Kristan: Jetlag” and a new episode “What’s new?”

Vienna (OTS) “Denksport Deluxe” is back on the program when presenter Gregor Seberg welcomes two brains and three clever challengers in the third episode of “CLEVER – the puzzle show” on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. Silvia Schneider and management consultant Martin Hubinger compete in five tricky rounds against Timon Moftakhar, Nicole Johler and Bob Moftakhar. Then at 9.15 p.m., Alex Kristan goes to distant travel destinations with his cabaret program “Jetlag” and looks for answers to the vacationers’ most burning questions. In a new edition of “What’s New?” at 10:30 p.m., Lukas Resetarits, Katharina Straßer, Clemens Maria Schreiner, Monica Weinzettl and Gerold Rudle celebrate “World Snowman Day” and puzzle over the “spot principle,” among other things.

“CLEVER – the puzzle show” at 8:15 p.m

In this episode, Silvia Schneider (moderator, fashion designer and lawyer) and Martin Hubinger (management consultant, general secretary at Mensa Austria) play in “Team Brains”. They compete against “Team Clever”, which consists of the father-son duo Bob Moftakhar (restaurateur) and Timon Moftakhar (general practitioner) together with Nicole Johler (lawyer), a mutual friend. The three of them practiced for the show in the evening at Bob’s restaurant. Now they are putting their respective talents to good use in the “CLEVER” studio and are fighting a five-round match against “Team Brains”. You play in the areas of concentration, attention, perception, logic and orientation for a total of up to 10,000 euros. “Team Brains” will donate its share of the profits to LICHT INS DUNKEL.

“Alex Kristan: Jet Lag” at 9:15 p.m

In his program “Jetlag”, imitation artist Alex Kristan dedicates himself to full relaxation at a distant destination and to the questions that holidaymakers ask themselves: Who is the bigger suitcase – the one on the conveyor belt or the one sitting in front of you on the plane? What do you do if you regularly find someone else’s towel on your favorite lounger by the pool? And how do you deal with treats at the free buffet when you have already exceeded the maximum permissible total weight of the flip flops?

“What’s new?” at 10:30 p.m

In keeping with the theme of “World Snowman Day”, Oliver Baier asks his advice team the question of the “spot principle”. Lukas Resetarits, Katharina Straßer, Clemens Maria Schreiner, Monica Weinzettl and Gerold Rudle are puzzling over whether it is really about dirt on pure white or whether it has a different background. When asked what a “cymbal book” could be, the punchlines fly like snowballs. This week, Jakob Seeböck and Gregor Seberg from the cast of the ORF series “School of Champions” ask the celebrity question: They want to know what a “committee stage” is.
