After the world’s first compact vacuum cleaner robot Nexaro No. 1500, which was certified for commercial building cleaning, the Wuppertal technology start-up Nexaro is now expanding its product range with another innovative vacuum robot, Nexaro No. Requirements for cleaning larger and complex space in the professional environment to meet even more efficiently. The development around the new intelligent vacuum robot is based on the close cooperation between Nexaro with leading national and international cleaning companies. Nexaro takes the next step to secure the future viability of the commercial building cleaning market.
Optimal addition to the portfolio: intelligence, precision and flexibility in practice
“The Nexaro No. 1700 is the ideal solution for large and complex areas of application such as lobbies, showrooms and other complex spatial structures in hotels, office buildings or retail objects,” explains Dr. Henning Hayn, General Manager of Nexaro. “This means that he meets the highest demands in commercial cleaning and at the same time complements Nexaro No. 1500 Ideal, which remains the optimal solution for smaller areas and specific inserts such as room cleaning in accommodation accommodation.”
Equipped with the latest sensor technology, the Nexaro NR 1700 navigates with its Long Range laser distance sensor with precise over space of up to 1,000 square meters. Different surface structures, the autonomous vacuum robot adapts effortlessly and cleans a wide variety of carpet and hard floors thoroughly and reliably.
The new tailor -made charging station of Nexaro No. 1700 makes the exact placement of the device easier through integrated optical aids and ensures reliable power supply so that the robot is always ready for use. An illuminated AN/AUS switch informs the cleaning staff at a glance at the status of the charging station.
Other hardware highlights are a robust housing with a reinforced dust container cover for more stability and patented auxiliary wheels for electrostatic discharge. The adapted side cleaning brush was also constructed for a more durable shelf life. The newly integrated chamber behind the bumper also enables an even more smooth and dense opening to objects.
Intelligent software for modern requirements
The Nexaro Hub, the digital platform of Nexaro, was expanded to include innovative functions such as the automatic, AI-based creation of no-go zones and the live tracking of the robot position during mapping. These new features increase user -friendliness and seamless integration into existing work processes and at the same time ensure maximum efficiency.
Both the Nexaro No. 1700 and the Nexaro No. 1500 are compatible via the Nexaro Hub and can be operated as a fleet in one object. Nexaro thus offers a fully networked system solution that is optimally geared towards individual needs for customers.
Market entry and pricing
The Nexaro No. 1700 can be pre -ordered from February 5, 2025 at a price of EUR 2,990.90. The Pro.Multi license for the Nexaro Hub is included in the price for 36 months. Delivery begins in April 2025.
Cobotic: The focus on people
Like its predecessor, the Nexaro No. 1700 is based on the Cobotic approach: the close cooperation between people and the latest autonomous robot technology. The aim of Nexaro’s business model is to relieve the cleaning staff by means of the elimination of strenuous work such as drying the ground – especially at outskirts. This not only increases the attractiveness of the job profile, but also enables employees to focus on more demanding tasks. The consequences for companies include the increase in efficiency and quality with the simultaneous reduction in costs.
With the Nexaro No. 1500, the Wuppertal technology start-up 2024 has put a milestone on the market of commercial building cleaning: As the first compact suction robot in the world, it fulfills the latest international security standard IEC 63327 for commercial cleaning robots. This was confirmed by the independent TÜV Süd test center. In addition, the renowned GS test mark of the TÜV Süd was awarded.
