After the bankruptcy, things are happening in quick succession: now the exclusive furnishings of the Signa headquarters in Vienna’s Palais Harrach are going under the hammer.
Vienna/ Niklasdorf (OTS) – The existing contracts for Signa Holding’s headquarters in Vienna’s Palais Harrach are being terminated, and the equipment for the prestigious office space will now be auctioned off to the best bidders: over 460 items will now go under the hammer in the first three auctions, giving an insight into René Benko’s power center. The surcharges will take effect from January 19, 2024 aurena.atthe property should be cleared by the beginning of March 2024.
Oversized “presidential table” and salon with marble room divider
The highest quality materials, high-quality workmanship, designer pieces and carpentry craftsmanship – the furnishings of Signa Holding’s headquarters testify to the real estate group’s premium standards. The exclusive furnishings of the Signa conference room are being auctioned: the centerpiece there is an elaborate, leather-covered “presidential table” with a diameter of more than 8 meters and space for around 20 people, a precisely coordinated designer pendant lamp and matching designer office chairs made of premium leather. In the associated salon, in addition to high-quality leather sofas, bar stools and side tables, a custom-made marble room divider is eye-catching, the new price of which was around 60,000 euros. And even on the toilet, style was demonstrated with toilet paper holders and toilet brush holders in a bronze look.
Building models from Park Hyatt, Elbtower and Co.
Also going under the hammer will be the furnishings of ex-Signa manager Claus Stadler’s office, as well as the equipment of numerous other workstations and lounges, as well as three e-city bikes. And anyone who would like to secure a small share of the prestigious Signa properties can bid on elaborately designed project brochures, images or 3D building models from Park Hyatt Vienna, Elbtower and Co. But less glamorous items such as a Signa doormat, Signa clothes hangers or office supplies can also be auctioned off.
Anyone can join in
The awards will be made on January 19, 2024 and February 2, 2024, and bidding can begin immediately. The Austrian auction house Aurena is in charge of the auction. All detailed information and dates for the individual auctions can be found at aurena.at. After registering once, anyone – whether a company or a private individual – can bid.
Viewing the exhibits
It is possible to view the exhibits on site in the Palais Harrach (fixed date, limited number of people, registration required!), and online viewing is also available.
