Numerous traffic jams and accidents shaped the traffic on Sunday.
As reported by the ÖAMTC mobility information, there was the longest traffic jam in return travel on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the direction of Salzburg. After an accident with eight vehicles in the Hiefler tunnel, the sheet metal column went back over 15 kilometers.
Please wait for the travelers in Styria, on the Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) the Gleinalmunnel had to be closed in the direction of Slovenia due to recovery work after an accident.
In Lower Austria, the East Autobahn (A4) was also affected by a lock after a serious accident at the airport, ÖAMTC notarz helicopter Christophorus 9 was in action.
In Tyrol, numerous travelers were on Zillertal Straße (B169), here it took about an hour and a half from silence to be delayed in sections on the Fernpassstraße (B179).
In Slovenia, traffic in front of the Karawanken tunnel towards Carinthia was quiet, and holidaymakers had to be patient for over two hours.
