The General Assembly of the Austrian Lawyers’ Association became a lawyer on December 18, 2024 Alexander T. Scheuwimmer re-elected as president. With around 2,500 members, the lawyers’ association is one of the largest academic organizations in the country. Among other things, he organizes the traditional carnival Saturday every Saturday Juristenball in the Hofburg with 3,500 guests. He also publishes, among other things, the members’ magazine “Nova et Varia”. The 44 year old lawyer from Vienna has held various positions in the legal association for more than 20 years and has headed it since 2017. This is his third re-election.
