Sales growth despite challenging conditions in Austria
Vienna (OTS) –

  • Total turnover rose by 4.1 %
  • Service sales grew by 1.8 %, driven by strong growth in the CEE room
  • EBITDA rose by 3.4 %, adjusted EBITDA – 0.8 % (without one -time effects and restructuring)
  • Strong commercial dynamics in all countries with over 300,000 new mobile postpaid customers

Alejandro Plater, CEO of A1, to the highlights of the second quarter of 2025:
“A1 also provides strong growth performance in the second quarter, whereby growth in CEE compensates for the weak market environment in Austria. Despite the challenging market situation in our home market, we have a robust commercial development in the most important segments.”

Thomas Arnoldner, deputy CEO of A1, added:
“As in the previous periods, our results continue to benefit from the demand for internet@home products and digital B2B services. Our customer base in the mobile postpaid area grew by 11.1 %, and the number of Internet@home-postpaid customers rose by 4 %. As shown in our strategy, we constantly ask ourselves how we can remain relevant for our customers and recognize their needs early.”
