This year, around 35,000 RSD guests will visit North Macedonia. This wonderful holiday destination becomes a valuable component in the RSD travel range. In order to underline the importance of this cooperation, North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski now received the owner of Funk-Holding, Christian Funk.
RSD Managing Director Horst Zsifkovits has already traveled to the Balkans and North Macedonia: “Here visitors find an area that has not yet been overflowing with very friendly people. Above all, I found the great Orthodox churches with their impressive icons and Ohrid to be particularly exciting. ”The highly interesting program is already very well received.
When visiting his important German tourism partner, Prime Minister Mickoski was pleased and optimistic with a view to the increased cooperation with RSD in the coming year. “North Macedonia has many sights that it can be proud of,” said Mickoski.
The Prime Minister pointed out that from February 2025 an aircraft with RSD guests from Germany, France and Great Britain would fly to its country every day. The number of overnight stays achieved alone, according to Mickoski, made a share of up to 15 percent of the currently registered foreign volume of overnight stays. Christian Funk thanked the country for the new opportunities for cooperation. He added that RSD guests are traveling in North Macedonia outside of high season, on culturally shaped study trips.
And these are – as always with RSD – very special holiday experiences: with professional German -speaking tour guide, best all -round care and with a lot of respect for the cultural diversity and the idiosyncrasies of the country visited.
