Hongkong (ots/PRNewswire) – Recently, RoboSense announced its business performance for the first half of 2024, showing strong growth and maintaining its leadership position in the global market. For the six months ended June 30, 2024, RoboSense’s sales volume of LiDAR products and LiDAR products for ADAS applications was approximately 243.400 and 234.500 units, representing an increase of 415,7 % and 487,7 % compared to the previous year.
As OEMs make rapid progress in intelligent technologies, RoboSense almost reached its 2023 annual sales volume in the first half of 2024. The development of RoboSense and the introduction of intelligent solutions in the global automotive industry are advancing together and are successful. This exponential growth highlights RoboSense’s exceptional capabilities in technological innovation and market expansion, consolidating our path to outstanding growth as an industry leader.
As of June 30, 2024, the cumulative sales volume of RoboSense in LiDAR reached approximately 583,500 unitsof which about 518,300 units on LiDAR for driver assistance systems (FAS). Since pioneering the mass production of LiDAR for ADAS in 2021, RoboSense has shown significant growth with steadily increasing sales that continue to lead the industry’s development.
By leveraging its powerful LiDAR hardware and perception software technology and leading product performance, RoboSense has made remarkable progress in vehicle model development and mass production of various vehicle models. As of May 17, 2024, we have received mass production orders from 22 global OEMs and Tier 1 customers 71 vehicle models receive. We will have started production by the end of the first quarter of 2024 25 vehicle models achieved by 12 of these customers.
At the 2024 Auto Beijing Show, RoboSense ranked first, equipping 37 models, and the utilization rate was over 50%. As more collaborative vehicle models come onto the market and reach mass production, RoboSense continues to break records.
In the areas of technological innovation and product development, RoboSense continues to bring powerful and technologically groundbreaking products to market that drive progress in the industry. In Q2 and Q3 2024 RoboSense brought this M3, a long-range LiDAR deviceand the MX, a medium-range LiDAR device, on the market. Shortly after its launch, MX won three new projects for mass production and is expected to begin mass production in 2025.
