“The mayor of Pölla (Zwettl) has knowledgeable about applicable law and imposed his policy through. The FPÖ Pölla has always opposed it and worked against it with several supervisory problems,” explains FPÖ Pölla club spokesman Franz Wögenstein on Thursday evening. After the complaint of a damaged community citizen, ÖVP Mayor Günther Kröpfl had to go to the dock at the Krems Regional Court and was (not final) sentenced to 12 months in prison.
The FPÖ Pölla is now demanding – with all five community mandatars – the resignation of Günther Kröpfl: “Pölla can and must not continue to be conducted by a (not legally binding) mayor.” FPÖ district Zwettl Obmann NaBg. Alois Kainz underpins the request of the FPÖ Pölla: “The resignation of the ÖVP mayor should be self-explanatory, no request is required.”
