Vienna (OTS) – “Schengen Air” comes into force for Romania and Bulgaria on March 31st. Air passengers from these countries no longer have to go through passport control on intra-European flights in the Schengen area. Border controls on land remain in place.
After a working discussion, the two interior ministers informed about the effects, measures taken and other initiatives at the European level as well as Vienna Airport board member Ofner about the effects on the airport.

Accompanied by Vienna Airport employees in the security area before entry control. Press point begins at 11:30 a.m.
Parking is available free of charge at the short-term car park K3 and in car park 4. You will receive an exit ticket directly at the event.
