Rema Tip Top AG has taken over essential assets and business areas of the Canadian Almex Group. With the purchase, the company is expanding its portfolio of vulcanization systems for conveyor belts and consolidating its role as a worldwide leading provider of integrated solutions for conveyor technology.

As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of vulcanization presses, Almex also brings technological strength and decades of experience into the group. The aim is to use these skills to expand Rema Tip Top’s product portfolio and make global supply chains more efficient. Customers benefit from a seamless transition and even faster service. In Mexico, Brazil and Africa, Rema Tip Top and Almex Canada Ltd. will act together as a sales partner in the future.
With integration into the Rema Tip Top company network, Almex has access to expanded research and development capacities as well as international supply chains and a larger, global customer base. The strengths of both companies are bundled in order to develop the latest generation solutions worldwide for operators of support systems. Common projects for integration have already started, with the focus clearly on business continuity and long -term customer benefit.
Almex was founded in Parry Sound in Canada in 1962 and is now represented in more than 120 countries as one of the leading providers for funding belt vulcanization and connection systems. Production at the locations in Canada, China and Spain remains. The companies in the Netherlands, the USA, Australia, Indonesia, Chile and Peru are continued unchanged by Rema Tip Top.
