More about the content
In Langenlois in Lower Austria, the respected and popular radiologist Dr. Harald Wolf (Stefan Pohl) killed in front of his own house with a single shot in the chest. As it turns out, the murder weapon is a historic pistol that comes from the victim’s own gun collection and was stolen a few months earlier. It doesn’t take long until investigator Marion Geyer (Regina Fritsch) from the State Criminal Police Office and her colleague on site, Patrick Brandl (Thomas Prenn), find out that Wolf wasn’t just a weapons collector, the son of a neo-Nazi and an esoteric influencer, but his contacts extend far into the Austrian and German relevant scenes. And as heterogeneous as this scene is, it is unclear whether Wolf, who leaves behind his wife Sandra (Verena Altenberger) and their son Heinrich (Lilian Rosskopf) – a seemingly perfect family – was just making friends there…
“Acht” is a co-production between Film AG and ORF and ZDF, produced with the support of FISAplus, the TV Fund Austria (excellence bonus) and the state of Lower Austria.
