Reading by Franz Schuh: “A man without complaints” on April 12th.  in the ORF RadioKulturhaus

Vienna (OTS) Franz Schuh will be a guest at the ORF RadioKulturhaus on Friday, April 12th (7:30 p.m.): The Viennese writer and philosopher will read from his new book, and the evening will be accompanied musically by pianist Suyang Kim and saxophonist Bernhard Parkfrieder.

Franz Schuh has a strong sense of the comic in the tragic; laughing in a clever way is his specialty. His new book “A Man Without Complaints” is “dedicated from the first to the last page to the year 2022, the annus horribilis in many people’s lives, including mine.” Schuh studied philosophy, history and German. He is a lecturer at various universities, a columnist for magazines and radio stations and has already received numerous awards for his work, including the Austrian Art Prize (2011), the Johann Heinrich Merck Prize and the Bruno Kreisky Prize (both 2021). The reading on Friday, April 12th (7:30 p.m.) in the large broadcasting hall will be accompanied by music by the pianist Suyang Kim and the saxophonist Bernhard Parkfrieder with works by Erwin Schulhoff, Gustav Mahler and Francis Poulenc.
