Rapid change in the logistics industry requires innovative solutions

Toyota Material Handling Europe is doubling its investment in research and development to support the sustainable transformation of the industry.

Vienna/Wr. Neudorf (OTS) The world of logistics is currently undergoing rapid transformation. The technological opportunities that arise in the logistics sector have an equal impact on companies and society. Toyota, as the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial trucks, is striving to drive this change forward and is doubling its investments in research and development.

The aim of this investment program is to continue to strengthen Toyota Material Handling’s position as a pioneer in disruptive logistics solutions, particularly in the areas of battery technology, AI, advanced logistics, automation, connectivity solutions and single-touchpoint fleet management. This will continue to ensure sustainable, Europe-wide growth as a general contractor, both in terms of device and solution developments as well as first-class quality in the customer experience.

As part of this effort, Toyota Material Handling Europe is intensifying its efforts to recruit top talent in these areas to strengthen and expand its R&D teams across Europe. The development and development of high-performance teams in this area is crucial in order to be able to keep up with the challenges and the rapid technological development of the industry. This is the only way to quickly bring innovative products, services and solutions to market in order to enrich or continuously optimize the customer experience.

In terms of heavy investment, Toyota Material Handling Europe recently launched one of its largest recruitment campaigns called “MOVE the Future”. The campaign focuses on recruiting tech talent in competitive, disruptive technology areas and reiterates Toyota’s commitment to contributing to a sustainable society.

Therefore, for us, blue is not just a color, but rather stands as a symbol of innovation and thus represents our innovative concepts and prototypes.
