Ralf König’s cheers will only be released on August 5, 2025

Berlin (OTS) –

The first publication of Ralf König’s book “Pflaumensturz and Sahn slits” is shifting to August 5, 2025. In keeping with the 65th birthday of Ralf König, the Egmont Comic Collection presents a very special book. There are more than 100 pages of comics that have not yet been published in book form. From the crowds “Konrad and Paul” to other well -known personalities such as “Moses” and “asparagus” there is something for everyone. Ralf König also with the journalist and comic expert Alex Jakubowski (comic-denkblase.de) agreed to chat about his life and works. About role models and originals, plum falls and cream slices, the queer scene, about God and the world. The result is a 192 -page anniversary band that reads like a conversation among friends at the kitchen table.

The birthday interview deals with all the important stations and books of the king. It is about anecdotes from East Westphalia, receded children’s drawings, or the first visit to a gay event – the Hocket. Of course, the success of “The Moving Man” is also discussed, but also aging or fear of failure.

Journalist Alex Jakubowski raves about the project: “People expect a very nicely made book! With many great comics and an exciting interview that was illustrated with many drawings, sketches and photos of Ralf. There should also be many surprises for connoisseurs.”

“Falling plums and cream slices-65 years Ralf König”-Egmont Collection, EUR 35.00, ISBN 978-3-7704-1165-8 is available in stores from August 5, 2025 www.egmont-shop.de
