May 21, 2025 marks a decisive key date for the implementation of Red III, the EU directive that is intended to massively accelerate the expansion of renewable energies with comprehensive measures: binding goals, outstanding public interest, less bureaucracy and effective acceleration areas.
By this date, all member states must present a comprehensive mapping of their space potential for the expansion of renewable energies. For Austria, an essential test stone of energy transformation and at the same time enormous challenge in the face of nine different federal states.
