Vienna (OTS) – Milka also set a strong example for diversity and inclusion in 2024 and presented the crowning conclusion of the “Purple is colorful” campaign as part of the Vienna Pride and Rainbow Parade. Under this motto, Milka, together with the purple brand ambassadors Anna Gasser, Laura Feiersinger, Alessandro Hämmerle and Viki Schnaderbeck, once again supported the LGBTIQ community and the values of acceptance and cohesion. “Our brand stands for inclusion and tender cooperation. With concentrated purple power, we want to make the world more colorful, diverse and inclusive,” explained Nina Mahnik, Head of Marketing at Mondelez Austria.
Campaign of colorful diversity
This year’s “Purple is Colorful” campaign invited everyone to celebrate diversity. Milka is aware of its role as Austria’s most popular chocolate brand(1) and used this initiative to spread the message of love and respect. As an official partner of Vienna Pride, Milka wanted to make a contribution to society, actively supported the LGBTIQ community and stood up against discrimination and exclusion. “In times when social tensions are increasing, it is more important than ever to stand up for inclusion and acceptance. With Vienna Pride we can live and share these values,” emphasized Nina Mahnik.
Behind the campaign is a dedicated team of Mondelez volunteers who advocate for the rights and visibility of the LGBTIQ community. For Milka, being unifying and inclusive is a matter close to the heart and has a long tradition. Milka wants to promote an inclusive work environment and strengthen community issues in a professional context. The local team works passionately to develop the company culture and ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued at Mondelez Austria.
