Hofer and its supplier ASCE – Aldi Süd Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH call back the articles “Crofton glass storage doses with ironing cap with wooden lid” and “Crofton glass storage can with ironing lock with glass lid” due to a possible risk of injury.
The products “Crofton Glass storage doses with a ironing cap with wooden lid” and “Crofton glass storage can with ironing cap with glass cover” by the supplier ALDI Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH will be used for reasons of precautionary consumer protection by ALDI Süd Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH and the Hofer KG called back.

When opening and closing the ironing locks, glass splinters can arise, which contain the contents of the glass storage socket or can cause an injury. Affected products should no longer be used.
The products were available in all branches of the Hofer KG from 10.10.2024 in Austria. The sale of the product was stopped immediately.
The products can be returned in all Hof branches. Customers will of course also be refunded with the purchase price without a purchase receipt. This warning does not mean that the risk was caused by the producer, manufacturer or distributor.
