The debate on the invoice for the invoice for 2024 will take place in the Vienna municipal council next week. As usual, the process is distributed over two days of meeting: debate will be made on Monday, June 23, 2025 and Tuesday, June 24th, in the municipal council meeting in the Vienna City Hall.
The first day of the session begins on Monday at 9 a.m. with the introductory speech by finance councilor Barbara Novak (SPÖ). This is followed by the general debate. In the early afternoon, the so -called special debates will continue to the individual departments. The special debate starts with the special debate finance, business, work, international and digital city councilor Novak. This is followed by the special debates to the cultural and science group (City Councilor Veronica Kaup-Hasler). The special debate on the social group, health and sport (City Councilor Peter Hacker) is the third and last of the first day of the meeting.
On Tuesday, June 24th, the debates on the business groups will continue with the special debate for urban development, mobility and Wiener Stadtwerke (City Councilor Ulli Sima). Then follow the special debates for the living, residential construction, urban renewal and women (mayor and city councilor Kathrin Gaál) as well as the education group education, youth, integration, transparency and markets (mayor and city councilor Bettina Emmerling). The last special debate of the second day is that of the Klima, Environment, Democracy and Personnel group (City Councilor Jürgen Czernohorszky).
According to the special debates and the closing word of Finanzstaddin Novak, on Tuesday evening by the financial statements, the annual financial statements of the urban activities and all applications submitted will be coordinated.

At the municipal council meetings in the municipal council meeting hall, visitors are accessible to the public. The counting cards required for this are available from the city service. Media representatives have access to the press gallery with press card. If there is no press card, media representatives can apply for an accreditation atkreditung@ma53.gv.at.
