Vienna (OTS) – The “Wedl Food Report 2024” offers insightful insights into the eating habits of Austrians. It was created in collaboration with the renowned domestic market research institute IMARK Market Intelligence from Innsbruck, with particular attention being paid to changes in eating habits, cooking at home and eating out. The sample of the representative study covers the socio-demographic structure of the Austrian population and thus ensures a comprehensive interpretation for the whole of Austria.

On February 22, 2024, the Austrian-wide catering wholesaler Wedl will present this year’s “Wedl Food Report”. For the underlying study “This is how Austria eats”, over 1,500 test subjects were surveyed at the end of 2023 about their eating, cooking and nutritional habits. At Wedl, it is a living tradition to serve customers, stakeholders, partners and the media with current facts about trends and developments relating to nutrition, cuisine and culinary delights. The current edition of the “Wedl Food Report” takes into account trends from the post-pandemic period as well as the effects of the global political and macroeconomic circumstances of our time.
