In Vienna, the ÖGK is the first federal state to set a milestone in pain medicine:

For the first time, specialized pain supply outside the hospitals is offered as a cash benefit.
For this purpose, the first pain center in the Auva-Traumazentrum Wien-Meidling in cooperation with ÖGK, AUVA, SVS and BVAEB is opened in the AUVA trauma center in Vienna.
